We strive to make the learning experience as effective and accessible as possible. That is why we provide a variety of courses and training sessions at low-cost with a specific focus on long-term care and seniors supportive living/lodges.
You can request industry-specific training such as:
- in-person at the CCSA’s office and virtual led-instructor courses;
- flexible private on-site training or any qualifying preferred location in Alberta, where we can create tailored training to meet your organization’s unique needs (minimum of 5 participants required);
Health and safety courses range in length from 2 hours to multiple days. Each course has a specific focus on long-term care and seniors supportive living/lodges:
- shorter courses, under 4-hours, are designed to provide practical skills and knowledge, without going deeper into theoretical issues.
- full-day or multi-day courses have an emphasis on professional training and are aimed at those who seek professional improvement and theoretical knowledge that is more complex.
Note! Allow us one month to prepare for a requested training (virtual or in-person) in order to provide you with the highest quality of training delivery. CCSA provides digital access to all the training materials required for the training session.
We provide downloadable certificates after successful completion of each course, that can be accessed through CCSA’s e-learning management system at your convenience.
CCSA works closely with WCB, Alberta Labour and other industry specific partners to bring you up-to-date training and courses that are relevant to your work.
To request an exclusive training session for your workers, please submit the online CCSA Training Request Form. Our Health & Safety Consultant will contact you to discuss all further details to meet your requirements.
