WCB Alberta released the 2022 Premium Rates

The average premium rate for 2022 will be $1.17. WCB Alberta is committed to delivering a secure workers’ compensation system that withstands the challenges during unstable times. It is through a balance of individual accountability and collective liability that WCB Alberta achieves fairness in premium rate setting.

The 2022 premium rate for the Continuing Care and Seniors Supportive Living/Lodges industry sectors has decreased to $1.66 from the 2021 premium rate of $1.67 per $100 of assessable earnings.

Employers are reminded their 2022 premium rate statement will be available mid-Dec by logging into your myWCB account. Visit myWCB to log in or to reset your ID/password if you have forgotten them. WCB Alberta eBusiness support team is available to help Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
