WCB: review of employer accounts and premium policies

IMPORTANT: deadline to provide feedback on WCB-Alberta policy reviews is July 15, 2019.

Topics up for review this year include

  • Employer coverage, including specific types of workers and employers (e.g., proprietorships, directors, partnerships, unpaid workers, volunteers, etc.)
  • Personal coverage
  • Premium payments
  • Assessable earnings (e.g., what earnings are included, what the value of service is for unpaid workers, etc.)
  • Industry classification
